Plants and Fruits associated with Resveratrol

Resveratrol is a phytoalexin that is produced naturally by plants. It is called so because of its antibiotic property to fight bacteria and fungus. The various plants and fruits that contain resveratrol include skin of grapes, red wine, raspberries, cranberries, pine trees, peanuts and Japanese knotweed.

Resveratrol in other foods

Red wine is a very high source of resveratrol as resveratrol in red wine comes from skin of red grapes that is used to make wine. Red wine has higher content of Resveratrol as compared to white wine as it is fermented. The easy way to get resveratrol is by eating grapes or drink grape juice without consumption of alcohol. Recent studies have indicated that purple grape juice has the same health benefit as red wine. Other foods that are rich in resveratrol include peanuts and blueberries.

Online Natural Health store for Discounted Natural Health Products

There are some individuals that count the calories of everything they consume while others just eat everything that is put in front of them and much, much more. Often these people do not care hold old the item is, they just don’t want to see it wasted. Many people have a very sweet tooth, preferring cakes, cookies and candy. Most people just don not consider what goes inside them and shy away from something like a health supplement for instance.

Ok so it was a little graphic but it made the point because you are not doing yourself any good consuming everything you see that way. Maybe you need to think about the extagen danger you are facing long term and start taking some health supplements instead. No, it’s not as daft as it seems because these are going to be a lot healthier for you than eating everything in sight! I often get told by individuals that they just cannot stomach the stuff even though they have never taken them.

I have always been a believer of trying something before I say I don’t like it. I’m talking health supplements made from powder, chocolate and minerals, nothing awful. Although I have tried many, I have stuck with two regulars and one of them is a multivitamin that I have been taking for as long as I can remember. There is absolutely no reason why everyone couldn’t take a supplement of some kind everyday.

I also enjoy whey protein shakes as part of my daily health supplement regime which I started drinking some time back. I sometimes find it hard to believe just how much protein there can be in a drink like this. I prefer to drink it in the morning but you can have it anytime of the day. The other benefit is that they add about 30 grams of protein which really benefits muscle growth.

These days, the types of health supplements on offer have been designed to give you all the good and none of the bad. So things like salt, sugar, cholesterol and saturated fat to name a few, which we already get too much of, aren’t in them. I think the best thing you can do is get onto the World Wide Web and get up to date with what’s happening in the world of health supplements.
